
A woman has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after assaulting two people including a police officer.
Riona Farrar, 41, of Portlands, Leeming Bar, must carry out 130 hours of work within the next 12 months.
She was also made the subject of a community order which required her to to up to 30 days of rehabilitation work.
York Magistrates Court heard the defendant assaulted a named man in Bedale Market Place on June 18.
She then assaulted a police officer again at Harrogate Police Station.
The defendant pleaded guilty to both charges.
The defendant was ordered to pay costs and fins totalling £199.
