Woman rescued from vehicle after Sutton Bank crash

A woman had to rescued from her vehicle after a collision on Sutton Bank near Thirsk today.

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision just after 3pm.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Services said a female was stuck in one of the vehicles due to the car being in a hedge.

Crews used a Dewalt saw to cut away the hedge which allowed the female to get out of the vehicle.

It is not known if anyone was injured in the collision.
