Two teenagers have been arrested after a Land Rover was stolen in Northallerton.
A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested on suspicion of burglary after thieves stole a Land Rover Discovery.
The incident happened in Ashlea Road, Northallerton, in the early hours of Sunday, August 6.
Thieves broke into a house to steal the keys for the vehicle.
Thanks to an on-board vehicle tracker, the Land Rover was later recovered and returned to the rightful owner by police.
However, in fleeing the scene, a large amount of damage was caused to both the stolen vehicle and another vehicle which was parked behind it.
The teenagers have been interviewed and released on bail with conditions which prevent them from entering North Yorkshire.
