Two people were injured after a a tractor and minibus collided on the A19 northbound this morning.
The collision occurred on the A19 near Ellerbeck and Osmotherley junction.
The drivers of the bus and tractor were both taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene.
Emergency first aid was provided by an off-duty firefighter who was first on the scene.
