Tools and cash taken during Stokesley burglary

Tools and cash were taken during a burglary at a builders merchants in Stokesley.

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following the incident on Thursday, April 15.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious activity within the industrial park area of Stokesley, including any sighting of a quad bike in the area, at around 10.15pm.”

Two male suspects are believed to have been involved.

The first is described as approximately 5ft 10in, wearing a green woollen fleece, blue jogging bottoms, grey coloured trainers, blue face covering with a black head covering.

The second is also described as approximately 5ft 10in, wearing a black waterproof coat with red hood strings, black bottoms, grey coloured trainers and a black face covering.
