The Polar Express Train Rides will return to the Wensleydale Railway for the 2024 festive season.
Organisers say families and Christmas lovers can again embark on a “magical journey that brings Chris Van Allsburg’s beloved holiday classic to life”.
The trains will be running from Saturday, November 16 through to Monday, December 23.
Nick Keegan, marketing and fundraising manager at Wensleydale Railway, said: “We’re very pleased to host The Polar Express Train Ride at Wensleydale Railway once again.
“This event is the perfect way for families to make this Christmas a truly magical one and create lasting memories in a unique way.”
He added: “The festive adventure begins the moment passengers board the train, where they will be greeted by a lively cast of actors who recreate iconic scenes from the film.
“Set to the enchanting motion picture soundtrack, riders will relive the magic of the story as they journey towards the North Pole to meet Santa Claus.”
Tickets include:
The Conductor punching each passenger’s golden ticket.
Hot chocolate and a cookie served by dancing chefs.
Passengers reading along with The Polar Express book.
A visit from Santa Claus, who presents each guest with the first gift of Christmas—a special sleigh bell.
