Thieves strike three times near Northallerton

This Beta trial bike was stolen.

Police are trying to find thieves responsible for three burglaries near Northallerton at the weekend.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses, information and CCTV following the incidents in the Yafforth area.

They all occurred between 9pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

In Mounstall Lane, there was an attempted burglary at one farm and a second farm has had the following items stolen from a secure container:

  • A Stihl chainsaw
  • hedge trimmer
  • leaf blower and strimmer in orange, black and grey
  • a red Beta 250cc trials bike
  • a yellow Suzuki Sport child’s quad bike
This quad bike was also stolen.

There was also a shed burglary at a property on Reveller Mews where a tool box containing screwdrivers has been stolen.
