Police have appealed for information follow a theft from the Northallerton Household Waste and Recycling Centre on Yafforth Road.
A number of vehicle batteries have been stolen.
It is believed the incident took place between 4pm on Saturday, January 11 and 6.50am on Sunday, January 12.
