Families can enjoy fun and frolicking on Mondays at Kiplin Hall as they welcome Story Craft Theatre back to the gardens this summer.
Outdoor performances, craft activities and museum trails (including a hunt for Pickle the Pug and an interactive music activity) are sure to keep children entertained, while learning about the heritage of this special place.
Alternating shows take place each week, so families can visit twice over the summer and enjoy a different experience each time.
On Mondays, July 29 and August 12 enjoy the Kiplin Story and on August 5 and 19 get on board for a Pirate Party.
All showsd are included in standard admission, day or annual tickets.
Programming Curator Alice Rose said: “Our programme of summer outdoor theatre has proven very popular, and we are excited to welcome The HandleBards back with their version of The Comedy of Errors on 15th August.
“But we know an evening of Shakespeare isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
“So for the past few years we’ve turned Mondays into Fundays at Kiplin. Offering four shows a day from Story Craft Theatre. The outdoor performances are accompanied by craft activities and museum trails.
“For families looking for extra value an annual ticket purchased this summer will also cover our popular Halloween trail in October half term and into 2025. That is a very special birthday year for us as we celebrate Kiplin Hall’s 400th Anniversary!”
Kiplin Hall and Gardens is open six days a week, closed on Thursdays. For more information visit www.kiplinhall.co.uk
