Firefighters were called out yesterday to reports of two teenagers standing on a bridge over a railway line.
The incident in Northallerton occurred at about 6.50pm.
On arrival, the fire crew couldn’t locate anyone on the bridge.
A search of the area was carried out and then left in the hands of police at the scene.
