A teenager was assaulted by a group of youths in Northallerton this week.
Police are appealing for information about the attack in the Applegarth Car Park.
It happened on the footpath near Applegarth Primary School around 8pm on Tuesday.
A 15-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of youths.
This resulted in the teenage boy sustaining minor injuries.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about any witnesses who may have seen an altercation involving a group of young people or any suspicious activity in the area.”
