A swashbuckling comedy romp is coming to Northallerton later this month in the form of the Allerton Players’ latest production.
They are presenting The Three Musketeers: a comedy adventure by John Nicholson and Le Navet Bete at the Forum in Northallerton on November 23, 24 and 25 and promise that this fast-moving, funny, modern take on the classic adventure story will have you laughing out loud.
Director Katie Bowie, who also plays one of the musketeers, said: “With over thirty different characters being played by the fourteen-strong cast and an all-female set of musketeers, this fresh version of the well-known tale will keep people thoroughly entertained.
“It’s got it all – adventure, romance, swordfights and lots of laughs.”
So, can the musketeers foil the dastardly plans of Cardinal Richelieu and Milady de Winter? Will D’Artagnan win the hand of the lovely Constance? What happens in the woodshed? And what have nuns got to do with it? Find out by coming along to support the musketeers in their quest.
Tickets can be booked at www.forumnorthallerton.org.uk or by phoning the Forum box office on 01609 776230.
