Two stolen bikes were recovered within an hour of the theft being reported, police say.
Police received an online crime report of the bikes being stolen just before 7am on Sunday.
The two motorcycles were taken from a property in Swainby, near Stokesley.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Acting on the information received, officers from our Roads Policing Group attended a location in the Cleveland area, and within an hour of the report, found the stolen bikes.
“They have since been returned to their rightful owners.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible for the theft.”
Crime can be reported to the police via our website, www.northyorkshire.police.uk, or the PoliceUK mobile app.
Police say reports will be dealt with in the same way as if you had phoned 101.
