Staff at Stokesley School say it has been a delight to watch students collecting their exam results after so much uncertainty and disruption in the last couple of years.
School leaders say they are proud to be celebrating their students’ successes, with 63.6 per cent of all grades across all subjects being A or B and over 90 per cent of grades at least a grade C.
In total, 99.5 per cent of all students passed their A-Levels with grades A-E.
Staff said 27 per cent of students achieved at least AAB in two or more facilitating subjects.
The average points score per entry was 40.3; the same as last year based on teacher awarded grades.
In terms of individual successes, George Levett was our top achiever with four A* grades and will go on to study Mathematics at Durham University.
Not far behind was Eleanor Hardy with three As and an A who will be joining the University of York studying French and German.
Head boy Ed Jeal achieved three A grades and will be going to study medicine at Birmingham, while Ralph Wall also achieved three A* grades.
Jack Dixon and Anna Morris both achieved two A* grades plus a further A grade and an A in mathematical studies .
A further seven students achieved one A* grade and in total 14 students attained straight A*/A grades.
Headteacher Hannah Millett said: “We are very proud of all our students’ achievements, ably supported by our talented and hardworking staff, and wish them well in the next stage of their lives.
“These excellent results are a credit to our fabulous students and further cement our position as an A-Level provider of choice in the local area.”
Richard Crane, CEO of the Areté Learning Trust, said: “Congratulations to all of the students at Stokesley Sixth Form for a great set of results – testament to their hard work as well as the support of their parents and carers.”
