STAFF at a restaurant in Stokesley have reopened the business after it was targeted by vandals on Saturday night.
Il Mulino restaurant, on College Square in the town, posted about the incident of vandalism on its Facebook page. It stated they had handed CCTV over to police on Sunday morning, after finding damage to the front of the building. They believe it was caused by four young people.
Staff worked to put everything back and reopen the Italian restaurant as quickly as possible.
News of the damage was met with dismay by customers on social media, who expressed their sympathy on Facebook.
One commented on Facebook: “Some mindless people.”
IL Mulino opened in March this year and is the sister restaurant to The Mill pub-restaurant in Stokesley.
Anyone with information is asked to ring North Yorkshire Police on 101.
