With severe weather predicted for the weekend, Hambleton residents are reminded that sandbags are available if needed.
A weather warning of heavy rain and high winds has been issued ahead of the arrival of Storm Dennis tomorrow.
At least 80mm of rains could fall in parts of the region over the weekend.
Hambleton District Council says residents in need of sandbags can get hold of them 24/7.
They are available from:-
- Bedale Leisure Centre – located in the shed at car park entrance
- Easingwold Galtres Centre – located in the rear car park
- Northallerton Depot, Darlington Road – located at the vehicle entrance
- Stokesley Depot, Ellerbeck Court – located to the front of the depot
- Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure Centre, Chapel Street – located in the shed to the right of the entrance
