The results of River Ure water quality tests will be revealed next week.
The results will be disclosed at an open meeting at Leyburn Methodist Church Hall at 6.30pm on Tuesday, October 1.
At the meeting, organised by Stop Ure Pollution (SUP) with the Yorkshire Dales River Trust (YDRT), the results of the water sampling of the River Ure carried out mainly by SUP citizen scientists, will be announced and evaluated.
Then, from Thursday to Saturday, October 3 to 5, there will be exhibitions about the water sampling and results at Leyburn and Bainbridge Quaker Meeting Houses.
The Bainbridge exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm each day, and Leyburn from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday, and from 10am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday.
Refreshments will be served.
These exhibitions are in conjunction with the commemoration of the anniversary of George Fox, the founder of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
