North Yorkshire Police officers were patrolling in Northallerton last night to prevent burglaries and drug dealing.
Due to some recent burglaries in rural areas, officers paid particular attention to local farms.
They were also actively stopping suspicious vehicles in the town with assistance from police dogs to search for drugs.
A spokesperson said they are keen to stop drug dealing and drug use in Northallerton and are appealing for anyone with information on who might be bringing in or supplying drugs in the town to contact them.
