Police are asking for extra vigilance and increased security after break-ins this morning in Northallerton.
Someone gained entry to garages on Bankhead Close and Ashlands Close during the early hours of this morning.
A suspicious male was seen in the area wearing at the time.
He was wearing a dark face mask, jeans and a light coloured hoodie with large letters going diagonally across the front that possibly reads RSH.
