Police say a body has been found in the search for missing 32-year-old Ethan Evans.
Ethan was last seen at 5.30pm on Friday at his home address in Easingwold.
A police spokesperson said: “We’re sad to report that officers searching for missing Ethan have this afternoon recovered a body in Easingwold.
“Formal identification is yet to take place, but we believe the body is of Ethan who went missing on Friday. We have informed Ethan’s family of the news and they are receiving support from specialist officers.”
Police do not currently believe that there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
“Thank you to everyone who contacted us with information to assist our searches,” the spokesperson added.
