Police are appealing for the driver of a black vehicle that may have information about a hit-and-run incident to come forward.
The vehicle was travelling down Yafforth Road, Northallerton, behind a white SUV at 7.08pm August 30.
A police spokesperson said: “If the driver of the black vehicle has any dashcam footage this could assist with further investigations.
“Please contact NYP on 101 quoting reference 12200153378.”
A 13-year-old boy suffered concussion, a severely grazed back and a bruised elbow after being hit by a vehicle believed to be white and possibly a Porsche SUV.
