Police are appealing for information and sightings of wanted man Dean Pajor, from Sowerby, near Thirsk.
The 45-year-old is alleged to have made threats to harm another man.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to find him since the matter was reported to us on January 5.
“It is believed he may be in the Darlington area.”
