Police investigating a violent incident at Little Holtby, between Leeming and Catterick Village, at the weekend say they have found two key witnesses.
Detectives appealed for help to trace two people they said may have vital information following the incident in the early hours of Sunday morning which a left a 43-year-old man with critical injuries.
The man and woman left Club Amadeus in Northallerton at around 3am on Sunday and got in a taxi.
As they climbed into the back of their taxi they were joined by another man who sat in the front passenger seat.
In an update today North Yorkshire Police said they had now traced the pair and thanked the public for their help.
Steffan Rhys Wilson, 25, of Llanybydder, in Wales appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on Monday following the incident.
He was charged with attempting to murder and two counts of assaulting police officers.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Leeds Crown Court on December 30.
