An incident in Carlton Miniott was brought to a safe conclusion, police say.
A 28-year-old man who was on the roof of a property was safely brought down at about 6.30am.
He has since been arrested.
Two others, a 23-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man who were both present at the property have also been arrested and are currently in police custody.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “Thank you to residents for their patience and understanding while emergency services dealt with the incident.”
Police said at around 3am this morning that they were dealing with an incident on Carlton Road in Carlton Miniott, where a man had got on to the roof of a house.
Other emergency services attended thew scene and the area was cordoned off.
