Police appeal after report of girl attacking boy in Bedale

Police are appealing for information after a violent incident involving a teenage boy and girl in Bedale.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

It happened on the High Street at about 7pm on Thursday, October 5.

Police say they are looking to speak to two women who broke up a fight between a teenage boy and girl.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “It is believed that the two women got out of a vehicle and stopped the girl from attacking the boy.

“Police are keen to trace them as they could potentially have dashcam footage of the incident which could help an investigation.”
