Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision on the A6055 at the junction for Street Lane, Pickhill.
It happened at 5.15pm on Tuesday and involved an orange motorcycle and an orange Peugeot 208.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries but is currently stable in hospital.
A police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
