Police are appealing for information after two men stole items from the Village Store in Morton-on-Swale.
The incident happened around 1.20pm on February 23 in Morton-on-Swale.
Two men took items from the shop shelves, including some protein powder, and left without making payment.
Police say a witness initially came forward to provide a description of the suspects but did not leave any details.
A spokesperson added: “Police are keen to speak to this witness and anyone else who may have information which could help establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.”
