Police appeal after digger theft near Thirsk

Police is appealing for information about the theft of a digger and trailer near Thirsk.

It happened at World’s End Farm in Sowerby between the morning of Friday, December 15 and the morning of Monday, December 18.

A police spokesperson said: “Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, officers are appealing for information about anyone who has seen the digger and trailer pictured.”

The digger is described as a yellow and black, SANY SY18C excavator digger, with a broken front foot plate glass panel.

The trailer is described as a metal silver, low deck, standard flat-bed trailer.
