A Northallerton woman has been given a 12-month motoring ban for drug driving.
Simone Ward, 36, was stopped in the town’s Mount Road in August last year.
A drug-drive test revealed she was more than four times the specified limit for Benzoylecgonine, a cocaine derivative.
Ward, who was driving a BMW, admitted the offence and appeared for sentence at York Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The prosecution withdrew a separate allegation of driving while over the specified limit for cocaine itself.
Ward, of Scholla View, was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs, as well as a £34 statutory surcharge.
