Northallerton Musical Theatre Company (NMTC) will stage Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at The Forum later this month.
Producers say the show will be a “magical retelling of the enchanting tale” of Belle, a young woman who yearns for adventure beyond her provincial life, and the Beast, a cursed prince seeking redemption.
Director Jordan Hamilton-Leighton says the show is a “testament to the outstanding level of talent in the Northallerton area”.
“This production is an excellent demonstration of the talent within the local area.
“The ensemble’s breathtaking vocal performances, paired with the visually impressive choreography promises to captivate the audience.
“NMTC has a long-standing reputation for high-quality performances, and this production is no exception.”
The show is being staged after the company recently celebrated success at the NODA North Performance Awards, where it won Best Concert and Best Supporting Role awards.
Performances run from October 22 to 26 at The Forum in Northallerton.
