A Northallerton man has died after falling from a ride-on mower.
Police say the incident occurred in North Stainley, near Ripon, on Friday afternoon.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We were called to a report of the sudden death of a man in the village.
“It’s believed the man, from Northallerton and in his 20s, fell from a ride-on mower, and suffered serious injuries.
“Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Our enquiries are ongoing, but we don’t believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.”
