Northallerton teenager Hanna Holden has continued her fine form by winning her fourth consecutive national title.
Hanna competed in the National Junior Boxing Championships and won the Open Class <63kg belt last month.
Training out of the Phil Thomas School of Boxing in Middlesbrough under head coach Craig Carney, Hanna continues to train daily in order to maintain the level of fitness that allows her to compete at the highest levels.
This latest victory was Hanna’s seventh fight this year.
She has already been crowned the Nation’s Cup Champion after representing England in Serbia, shortly followed by her winning the Golden Girls Box Cup Championship in Sweden.
Hanna must now balance her GCSE exams with a busy training calendar over the coming months that will hopefully see her compete at the Tri Nations and European Championships.
“I’m looking forward to a busy year but my sights are already set on moving up to the Youths as the rounds will increase to 3 minutes” said Hanna.
“It will get harder though as I want to start sixth form in September and will need to balance my sport with my school commitments”
