Two new maps are pointing visitors to Easingwold in the right direction of local businesses.
Created in partnership with Easingwold Tourist Information Centre, they highlight independent retailers and service businesses in the market town.
And they come off the back of the highly successful café culture maps created last year.
Each business mentioned on the new maps – which will be displayed in the town centre – has paid £20 to be included with all money raised channelled into the TIC.
The market place display case has been restored with the aid of a grant from Hambleton District Council’s Vibrant Market Town budget, which is also helping with maintenance work at the TIC headquarters.
“These maps are designed to encourage visitors and residents to explore the town and support their local businesses,” said Kate Buckby, TIC manager and Chair of Wold Class Business Network. “We hope people will discover new places they have not been to before – and local businesses they want to support.”
