Children are being invited to help the Friends of the Friarage charity find a new logo.
The charity is inviting primary and secondary school children from across Hambleton and Richmondshire to take part.
The charity donates time and fundraises for medical support and modern equipment at the Friarage Hospital and its community services in Hambleton and Richmondshire.
The Friends of the Friarage team are contacting schools and inviting them to get involved, however, the opportunity is open to all school-aged children in the local area.
The entry form can be downloaded by parents/guardians from the Friends of the Friarage website at https://www.friendsofthefriarage.org.uk/ and returned directly to the charity via email.
Children have until Monday, February 22 to complete their designs and the trustees will select ten of their favourites and award a £10 book token to each one.
Susan Watson, joint chair of trustees for the Friends of the Friarage said, “Working with the local community is extremely important to us.
“With the NHS in the spotlight right now there has never been a more valuable time for us to look at our brand and ensure we are doing everything we can to support the Friarage Hospital.
“By recreating our logo, we want to develop a stronger brand so it’s more recognisable to local residents and build stronger relationships.
“School pupils are the future of the charity so it’s vital we engage with this younger audience and bring them on this journey to develop our look and feel.
“We can’t wait to see what the children create and hope it gives them a positive and fun task during lockdown.”
Completed designs can be emailed or posted to the charity and all the details are included on the form.
