The emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on the A684 last night.
The incident happened at 12.15am at the bridge over the River Swale at Morton-on-Swale.
Police and firefighters from Bedale and Northallerton attended.
One person was trapped inside the vehicle and was released by fire crews using cutting equipment.
Two people were walking wounded.
All three were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
