A mobile post office will be used to restore the service in Great Broughton.
The service will be provided by the postmaster for Marske-by-the-Sea.
The travelling post office uses a specifically designed vehicle.
The postmaster for Marske already provides mobile post office service to ten rural communities.
The service will begin on Tuesday 24 March.
It will operate from Wainstones Hotel Car Park, 31 High Street, Great Broughton, TS9 7EW every Tuesday from 11.15am to 12.15pm.
Since the closure of Great Broughton Post Office in the High Street, Post Office bosses say they have continued to work to identify a solution to restore services to the local community.
They say the establishment of a mobile service presents the best possible solution to restore post office services to the local community.
The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the mobile stop, day and opening hours before arrangements are finalised.
Consultation will close on Friday 20 March.
Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 181327.
Submissions can also be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to Freepost YOUR COMMENTS, or by telephone 03452 66 01 15 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.
