An authentic medieval market is set to make a stop in Northallerton later this month.
The free market which will pitch up in the town on October 29 and 30 will bring a feast of medieval goods, characters and music for everyone to enjoy.
The market will be on from 10am to 5pm both days, and through sights, sounds and smells will bring to life how a market might have looked in Northallerton in Medieval England between 1066 and 1307.
Working in partnership with Historic England and re-enactment specialists the Conquest Living History Society, Hambleton District Council is bringing this authentic medieval market right to the heart of our district as part of the wider work associated with the High Street Heritage Action Zone Cultural programme supported by Historic England.
