Man rescued after getting stuck in cherry picker

A man became stuck at the top of a cherry picker due to a mechanical malfunction today.

The incident in Romanby was reported at about 12.50pm.

A fire crew from Northallerton responded to the report and used a 9m ladder to rescue the man.
