A man has been arrested after a report of a person being stabbed with a needle.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm today in Zetland Street, Northallerton.
A spokesperson for Nort Yorkshire Police said: “Officers attended and a 57-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
“The victim has been taken to hospital and a police cordon remains in place.
“We’re asking anyone who witnessed the incident that hasn’t spoken to us at the scene to come forward.
