A lorry containing 160 pigs overturned at Leeming today.
The incident happened on the A684 at Coneygarth Services at about 11.15am.
Police and firefighters from Bedale were called to the scene.
The fire crew assisted by using hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools to gain access to the lorry and help transfer the pigs to a second lorry.
