A groom-to-be had to have a bike lock removed from his neck by firefighters.
The man — who was wearing fancy dress — went to the fire station in Northallerton with the lock on his neck.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crew assisted a gentleman on his stag party who arrived on station wearing fancy dress with a bike lock fastened around his neck.
“Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the lock allowing the gentleman to rejoin his party.”
The incident happened at about 3pm on Saturday.
