Four suspects in a Stokesley burglary have been arrested in Middlesbrough following a pursuit.
As part of an investigation into a burglary at a business premises in the town, reported in the early hours of 6 June,
North Yorkshire Police officers identified a vehicle they believed to be involved in the burglary, which was reported in the early hours of June 6.
At around 5.20am on June 7, the vehicle was seen travelling through the Cleveland area.
It was then followed by officers from North Yorkshire Police and Cleveland Police who intercepted it in Middlesborough centre at around 5.30am.
The occupants of the vehicle, four men aged 18, 20, 21, 32, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into Cleveland Police’s custody.
The men remain in custody at this time and the investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
