Firefighters were called to tackle a smouldering haystack in the early hours of this morning.
The incident at a farm in East Cowton was reported at about 3.15am.
Two fire engines from Northallerton and one from Richmond attended the incident in a large shed.
Around 80 hay bales were removed by the fire crews and farm staff before being dampened down.
