Firefighters tackled a chimney fire in Romanby yesterday.
The incident was reported at about 5.30pm.
Northallerton firefighters attended and extinguished the fire in a chimney.
Crews worked with tools to cut away fire board above the flue and used water to extinguish.
Advice was also given to the occupier.
