
Firefighters were called to rescue two people stuck in a cherry picker at the weekend.
A crew from Bedale attended the incident at around midday on Saturday in Gatenby Village.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Service said: “A crew from Bedale assisted two people from a cherry picker which had become stuck in the up position 25 feet up.
“Crews were able to release a valve to manually lower the cage.”
