Firefighters were called to rescue two motorists stuck in flood water yesterday.
The incident happened in the Kirby Wiske area, near Thirsk, at about 2.30pm.
A fire crew from Thirsk responded to the report of a vehicle that had become stuck in flood water with two occupants inside.
Firefighters located the vehicle in approximately a foot of water.
Crews assisted the occupants to walk from the vehicle to dry land.
