Firefighters were called out to rescue a man stuck between two forklift truck forks.
The incident happened yesterday at Leeming Bar, near Bedale.
Crews from Northallerton and Bedale were called out at 12.23pm to assist paramedics in removing the casualty.
The incident incident involved a male aged in his 50s who had slipped when getting out of a lorry.
He became trapped by his leg with one leg over one fork and the other under the other fork of the forklift truck.
Fire crews used manpower to free the casualty who was transported to hospital with leg injuries.
