Bedale firefighters were called to a rescue a lamb this morning.
The animal fell down a 6ft dry well in Leyburn Road, near Masham.
The crew was called out at 10.49am this morning.
They used a triple extension ladder to reach the lamb which was reunited with its mother, unharmed.
RSPCA officers also attended.
