Firefighters rescued a child from a locked car yesterday.
A crew from Thirsk fire station was called to Alanbrooke Barracks at Topcliffe at about 3.15pm on Thursday.
They responded to a report that an 18-month-old child was locked inside a car.
The child was released and first aid was administered to a small cut on the child’s head.
The child was than handed over to paramedics.
