Firefighters helped a district nurse gain entry to a property after the elderly occupant fell today.
The incident happened in Romanby at about 9.30am.
A crew from Northallerton gained entry by breaking the window after the elderly woman inside had fallen.
Firefighters provided assistance until the arrival of an ambulance.
